LEGAL CONCERNS

Only an attorney can give legal advice but the staff at the Accident Care and Treatment Center can advise you about your need for legal representation.  Frequently,   the individual can negotiate their settlement without an attorney.  This is particularly true when the accident did not result in significant damage to the vehicles.  The  staff of ACTC can help you decide if you should talk to an attorney.  Some patients simply do not want to deal with the insurance adjusters for private reasons.

Some patients have retained an attorney prior to coming to the clinic.  We will work with your representative and provide the records necessary for him or her to represent you.  If you feel you would like to talk to an attorney and do not know one, we can help you.  The ACTC can refer you to any one of several attorneys whom we know to be experienced, and whom we believe to be competent in personal injury law.  You will not be charged for talking with any attorney, and most, if not all,  will accept your case on a contingency basis (i.e. they will not charge you until your case is settled and you have received payment).
